3 Haunted and Eerie places in Weston Super Mare

On my recent trip to the west coast of England I visited Weston Super Mare, a coastal seaside town. Eighteen miles from Bristol. Originally a village which grew into a town with the popularity of the sun and sea in the 1800s, as well as the help of modern transport.

Through the years, it’s developed its sources of paranormal. Some, it’s developed along the way with the Old Pier and The Toll Toad and the Ghost Driver, some that could have been there for years like at the forest. Then some, that could be a natural occurrence like at the hospital.

I had a quick visit at all these places.

Animal Sprit Experiences

Do animals have spirits or souls? Do they go on after death? Very little is mentioned on animal spirits. However, I came across this book, ‘I Don’t Want Another Pet Right Now’ by Terri Wilson which is a charmer. Though it starts on the blocks people have about getting another pet after losing them, it is a lovely story of her relationship with her pets. What really impressed me was her spiritual relationship with them and the experiences she had.

It’s Thanksgiving time, when the Americans get together and have a meal to give thanks for what they have. A tradition that goes back to the founding settlers. However, it is a tradition that goes even further back.

It is also a practice that is good for the mind and body. It elevates the chemicals in the brain. It releases serotonin and dopamine that has positive results on the body. Also raises the vibrations that help to put you in a higher state and helps to aid in manifesting.

Thanksgiving shouldn’t be for just one day of the year but practiced as gratitude all year through becoming a way of life.

Performed in the theatre with the magic and illusion that is just theatre magic. Special effects that create creatures, submergence under the sea, and theatre tricks that just create the whole illusion and bring this piece larger than life.

The Mystery of the Veiled Lady of Bristol

The Veiled Lady in Bristol. Lots of people think she’s eerie. Definitely mysterious. What’s her story?

The is a building in Bristol, now the Mugshot restaurant. It was built in 1868 with four heads on the front. Three men and a woman. At the time a popular building style to have heads on buildings. However the woman wears a veil or a shroud! Why?

Some say she represent Autumn and they represent the four seasons. But the do the young men depict Spring and Summer? Why is she veiled though?

Maybe the reason is lost in Time? If you know the building, have any ideas, do let us know.

A Most Haunted and Historical Pub In Bristol

There are quite a few haunted pubs around town, and the older they are seems to be place where more spirits have moved in over the years. The Llandoger Trow pub in Bristol is one such pub. Opened in 1664. Not only is it inhabited by fifteen ghosts, it was also a well know pub frequented by many famous characters like Blackbeard the pirate, and writers like Daniel Defoe and Robert Louis Stevenson, and Alexander Selkirk, that the novel Robinson Crusoe is based on.

Have you ever done something and then later, it was different than how you imagined it? Did you hear of some news and then later heard it was different, as if it had changed? Even groups of people have been known to have experienced something and then later the facts were different. That’s the Mandela Effect.

It can play in our lives with the simplest of things. We thought we washed the dishes, only to find out later that we hadn’t! Some say it’s our minds playing tricks, like not remembering things as they were. Some say it’s the glitch in the Matrix or the Simulation!
